I am a new in ansys 13 and I don īt how to mesh my model with hexa mesh. I want to modelling a combustion in a 3D model. The pictore of my model is atteched. I sliced it for 4 parts, but if I choose AUTOMATIC METHOD ansys 13 always meshed my model with tetra mesh. Please if you know help me.

Thanks a lot

Pick a hex method perhaps (sweep or multizone)?

Yes I tryed a sweep method it create mesh but with the low quality and if I try a Multizone I got this: Multizone blocking decompozition failed. I drawed my geometry in ansys designer.

Firstly I'll preface this post with this - get some training in ANSYS Meshing or if that is not possible at least read the manual and understand the controls open to you. What this forum is for is to help people - but helping people who cannot be bothered in any shape or form to help themselves is a pointless task.

Define poor quality. Skewness? Which metric are you using? If so is the mesh size too big to represent the geometry? Post a picture to help us understand what you mean by this.
