The following faces are higher order NURBS with many knots. These types of surfaces may lead to longer meshing times. If meshing time is long, changing your smoothing to low may help improve the meshing speed.

I got the same warning message. What does this mean? and how to avoid? What are the profer options for good mesh?

"Nurbs" means "Non-uniform rational B-Splines"
You can look it up in Wikipedia. Itīs a mathematical way to describe curves, which probably form your geometry. I donīt know which settings for meshing should be preferred or what to do best! Is it good to reconstruct the Geometry or is it not worth the trouble? If I want to use cutcell-method with ansys mesh for my blade geometry the meshing process would last for weeks I guess ( at least there was no progress after two days so I aborted the process) I would be glad for more information Best regards Tobi |

Sorry to dig this old thread up, but anyone knows how to solve this problem?
