For a good mesh, what's the size change factor I want to keep within?

1.2 to 1.3 is good one.

Thanks. In Gambit, when it says a "Size Change" of 1.3, let's say, does it mean size in terms of volume and area (in a 3D and 2D meshes respectively) ? Or is it length?
