Hi everybody!

here is the deal. I'm working with Gambit with a train model geometry. When i'm checking the position of any vertex the precision of its position is up to 6 decimals, i.e. 6.124559, which is fine but maybe too much. Is there any way to change it in order to have the same coordinate two points which now are, for instance, 6.124559 and 6.124329? So, let's say that what I'm trying to change is the precision of the geometry definition.

Any advice or help is welcome.

Thanks in advance,

L3munoz.

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
Did you import your geometry from CAD?
If yes, maybe you need to redefine your precision in your CAD package.
Else workarounds with merge/split etc (even clean up tool) will fix your problem for sure

Hi!

however, i tried to creating from zero a body in gambit, and vertices already have coordinates with up to 6 decimals. I guess this is something you can fix in gambit without taking care of any cad software, doesnt it??

Cheers.
