face common to volume

during construction of geometry in gambit, i come across peculiar problem. However, i found the solution but its lengthy process

i was making a common header with 10 nozzles mounted on it. I need to use hexa mesh, so i divided my geometry like this.

I have drawn two rectangle of dimension such as one lie inside the circle (dia 0.2 m) and one lie outside the circle. I have joined the corners of rectangle. After that using split edge tool. i split the recently drawn four edges with circle (using bidirectional option while splitting edges). This way circle is divided into five parts. I used the create face from wire frame tool and made the edges into faces. (Using edges of small rectangle and arc of circle. middle face will entirely form from rectangle edges). Now my circle is divided into five faces.

I used the sweep command to make 5 volumes from five faces. Now, two make other nozzle i simply copied the circle faces (which is divided into 5 parts) and sweep it.

My problem is that when i use sweep option to the copied faces, the volumes which share common face has two different face (one for each volume i.e common face is drawn twice). but there should be only one face which is common to two volumes. I cant merge the faces as it is giving error.

This problem can be eliminated if we do not copy the faces. Make new circle and divide in into five parts and then sweep. My geometry has number of nozzles and it will b difficult to make same thing again and again.

Any suggestion ??

Did you connect all surfaces?
