I want to construct high order elements(2 order) using the gambit.
But for 3d case i need to describes each face of element by second order expression. To do this i need 3 points at each edge of each face and 1 point at central of face so that to be able to construct 2d second order Lagrangian polynomials but gambit doesn't give me the ability to do this (has a case that each edge of face has 3 points but not at central in all type of elements except of hexahedral).

What can i do here? Suggestions?

Nobody does not use second order elements? All use linear elements?
