Blocking

Hi,
I am doing blocking for a part and my doubt is something similar to the example shown here.

If we have a sudden enlarged pipe like this we have to split the block to capture the bigger diameter and the smaller diameter and if we created a O-grid to get a good mesh, then at the enlarged section the quality of mesh is very poor.

If we create 3 or 4 O- grids inside to capture the features inside a cylindrical part then it will becomes much complicated and the quality is even worst.

Kindly any one help me how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

- Create a first O-grid for your global geometry
- Cut it at the jonction of your 2 tubes.
- Create another O-grid for your global geometry inside the first one to capture the small tube.
- Delete the blocks around your small tube.

You can do another o-grid inside the small tube to increase the quality ;)
