Hi,
I'm trying to mesh a 3D geometry. I have defined differents parts (each surface are in a part). I have defined mesh caracteristics on the surface and I'm using the "Volume meshing" tools. There are some problems at the intersection of differentes surfaces. I don't know which parameters can resolve this problem. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/members/aguilloux-albums-probleme+maillage-picture288-problememaillagesurface.html regards Alex Last edited by aguilloux; September 23, 2011 at 09:45. |

Do you have curves between your surfaces?
Before meshing, use the tool "build topology". It creates curves between surfaces with different colors : red when curves are shared with 2 surfaces, blue when curves are shared with 3 surfaces, yellow when curves are shared with only 1 surface. |

Thanks for your answer but I already have curve between surfaces (red curves after use the tool "build topology").

Try to play with the edge criterion option (Global mesh setup -> Volume mesh).
Reduce it to 0.1 first, and see how it works. |

thanks a lot!
I have good intersections with an edge criterion = 0.1. Regards Alex |
