I'm very new to ICEM CFD software. I'm moddleing a combustion chamber. The problem is how to create a new part as a volume(e.g. the clearence volume) instead of a surface and then make the volume mesh separately (e.g. the clearence volume and fluid)

Hi,
If You use blocking to generate the mesh put the blocks in new, separate part. If you use different meshing method You have to create material point.
