Hey everyone

I'm trying to create a structural mesh of an aircraft-wing.
My need is to be able to control the mesh independent of the size of the wing.
For example, I would like to do a curve mesh where I can decide the number of nodes/element myself. And if I change the size of the geometry, I need to have the same number of nodes/elements again.

I have used the shellmesh (all quads) together with "patch dependency" and can easily get a controlled mesh on the upper and the lower part of the wing by meshing the curves, because of the geometry is quite "straight forward"

Since the wingtips are more of a circular form, ICEM creates some triangles anyway.

I would like to divide the wingtip in different parts and try to mesh small areas of the wingtip.

Have you experienced the same problem and how did you solve it?

Just write if there is anthing that is not clear enough.
