create 3D Mesh from 2D symmetric mesh

1 Attachment(s)
HI Everybody,

I have a simplified 2D Geometry and I want to mirror the Mesh to get a 3D Mesh. To explain this easily I have made a little drawing:

1 status quo with symmetry planes on the bottom
2 If I mirror the mesh at the bottom the symmetry planes doesnt vanish
3 thats how it should be

How can I tell Icem to Mirror the mesh and to make the former symmetryPlane Faces to internal Faces?

Thanks in Advance!

did u try merging the two volumes after mirroring?

I´ve choosen 'Merge Nodes' in the mirror menu, so far.
But I havent seen a special utility to merge volumes?
How can it be done?

Thanks

The solution is here:

Altough I´ve selected 'Merge Nodes' as mirroring option it seems necessary to merge the nodes manually afterwards again. (Or set a really low tolerance in the first way)
Afterwards it is possible to delete the symmetry plane....

Thanks
