Meshing a complex pipe network
I was wondering if there was a more efficient way than 3-D blocking to obtain a nice hex mesh on a complex pipe network (picture 20 odd runs of pipe, with 40 or so elbows). I tried using the blocking by surface option within ICEM, however, it results in missing blocks at particular locations along the pipe network.
Any comments would be appreciated.
