[ICEM] anular meshing ?

Default anular meshing ?

i was tired to mesh the gap between out and inter pipe ( anuular pipes ) , how can do that in icem ?? i import geometry from Autocad , the meshing appear only in the solid pipe but not appear in the gap ??? why ??

Strange, it looks like you blocked it, but then generated a tetra mesh instead of using the blocking to generate a hexa mesh...

Try a hexa tutorial or two to get the general process down.

Also, as a blocking strategy, you should have started with an O-Grid to capture the outer circle first and then nest Ogrids down to the inner most pipe...

Use commands like "Align" to keep the blocking nice and squared up for max quality...
