Hej folks,

i am new with gambit and have to mesh a cylinder.
It is not just one mesh for the cylinder, so there is a problem which i am not able so solve by myself.

The cylinder is parted into three regions and the region in the middle needs a very flat mesh with a very small height (0.1mm) and a bigger area (1mm x 1mm). This is becaused in the specs, it is more importent to see the change of the fluid flow in the hight.

I have tried with meshing a face Hex/Pave interval size 0.1 and Cooper it with an interval size of 0.0001. But it doesn't work. There is always the same height like the meshed face edge (0.1).

Thanks for your help.

I've found a answer for my meshing problem.

I have meshed an axial edge with my meshheight befor coopering the volume.
