Dear All,

I am working with fluid-structure interaction (fsi). I will simulate a cantilever (beam) which is able to deform in a open waterchannel when the fluid flows around/on the beam.

I've made the fluidmesh in ICEM with a hole representing the cantilever. Now, I want to be able to extract the structure mesh, i.e. the hole filled with the same mesh size as the surface of the beam from the fluidmesh.

I've tried for a while, and,no matter what I do, ICEM always ends up with meshing both the interior of the fluiddomain and the beam.

I am looking forward to all kind of help!
Thanks!
