dutiaa is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

First of all I'd like to say that I'm new both to this forum and to Ansys so please take me easy

Secondly, my problem or better said my problems are:
-after i import my geometry (a motorcycle helmet) from Catia as a Step format I get multiple bodies and surfaces which I cannot unite with the boolean operation. The error states that the body cannot be converted to DesignModeller.
-if I try to enclosure the bodies I get the error that states that the enclosure failed because of geometry engine.

I tried to fix my geometry with SpaceClaim but whatever I do I cannot unite the bodies. I know that the solids and surfaces cannot be unite together so I tried separatly, with no succes.

Is there any suggestion you may have? Is there any possibility that I go further with my CFX analysis without subtracting the bodies from the enclosure? Maybe even do the subtraction for me? For a small fee maybe?

Thanks and I hope I made myself clear enough.
Andrei
