hello all,
I want to model a beam and its noise propagation exited by wind. but I have no idea how to start. would you please kindly give me a hint?

Is this an ANSYS question or a general question? (It seemed to be a general question but the moderator has moved it to the ANSYS forum.)

The answer depends on the level at which you wish to model. Do you have access to a large parallel computer and software for accurately solving the unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes equations? At low Mach number or high Mach number? How large is your external domain and where do you want to know the sound field?

Hi Andy,
I want to use Ansys14 multi physics. the thing is i have to couple structural to fluid domain (FSI) and for acoustic I guess I have to use PML method and "Fluid30". but the thing is how can I do it in workbench not mechanical APDL?

This looks like a question for the ANSYS support desk rather than a general question about simulating acoustics. I am afraid it has been a few years since I last worked with ANSYS products.
