Icem and dm

Hello, everyone,

I feel the icem is not easy to make a geography, and the Design Modeler is easier to make a more complex model.

so Can I input the geography model made by DM to ICEM?

Best!

Hi huihui,

It's quite easy, you can directly import your .agdb from DM in ICEM under >File>Workbench Readers and then just browse your file ;)

ICEM is not a professional 3D tool to create models, but could be used to do some simplification and modification. So, if you have a complicated model to be meshed, it is a better way to create them in 3D software, like Solidworks, Pro/E, and then export the geometry to ICEM.
