I am trying to mesh a hydrocyclone with hexa mesh but have very poor quality. My model has rectangular inlet section tangentially connected with cyclone cylinder. Near the tangential connection area, the elements are very skewed and orthogonal quality is very poor. Could anyone please give a idea of how can I improve mesh quality of that hydrocyclone.
Thanks Motin |

why do you choose hexa mesh ? I guess there are a lot of ways on how to mesh the cyclone, a picture of the problematic area and some further settings details are welcome to assess the problem.
