ansys 13 license
 

Hello genius!!!
I have also a mini problem..

My pc - status is:

ANSYS, Inc. License Manager status:
Licensing Interconnect: not running
Licensing Interconnect Monitor: not running
FLEXlm: not running

I've found that:
Failed to start the FLEXlm license manager. Please check the FLEXlm log file C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license.log for more information (errno = 2).

Could not start FLEXlm server. Please check the FLEXlm log file. Exiting.

I check the license.log :
1: Unable to kill lmgrd.exe. Please kill this manually by opening the Task manager and Killing the lmgrd.exe which are still running I know that lmgrd.exe. is not visible..
2: Not a valid server hostname, exiting.

The problem was with my internet connection..
Maybe a router problem or a problem with blocked port from my internet supply company..

I hope I help someone with same problem..

I would check it first with my internet supply company.. Ask them, especially if you use vpn in order to connect with License server!!
You can also check if your License is valid...

I also have a problem with licensing ANSYS 13.

When I installed everything and run Workbench I get a "Missing component template" error. That means I do not have any access to "mesh, fluent, cfx or geometry".

I heard that this is a language issue but I could not fix it.

Is there anyone who could give me a clue?
