So starting ANSYS for the first time. After building a model when I try to solve it the solution says "NO NODES DEFINED" What does it mean?

Also can anyone give me a good idea of what nodes and elements are plz. I know nodes are obtained after the we complete the meshing operation. they are a part of the fea model. So shouldn't I have nodes generated when I created the mesh?

I'm really sorry for the stupid questions but as you can see I'm really new to this and trying to understand FEA.

Hi, you should firts define ELEMENT Type ,Real Constants and Material Props, then define mesh control by "MeshTool" and generate the grid, nodes and elements will be both defined in the same time.
