Setting up model for birth&death option
 

Dear members.

I have run into dead end by not being able to set up simulation for additive manufacturing.

Difference in it is the continuous process of part being created.

Regards simulation that means there should be a constant rate of new elements to be added to the model. Ansys offers that by utilizing birth & death option.

I have read a publication where someone has done similar simulation but can not repeat it yet.

Can someone who knows how to set up element definitions together with load step options explain a bit closer how to set them up?

I would like to be able to redefine elements with different order than they are being assigned automatically.

Any help would be really appreciated from you guys.
