Hi,

I am trying to calculate forces created in base of magnetic fields from a permanent magnet, only to learn how ansys work with this type of simulation.

I am not sure if I can ask this here, because this is a forum for CFD.

What I would like to understand is what blocks should I take to start testing.

[MAGNET] ----distance X-----[SHEET OF IRON, FIXED ONLY IN ONE SIDE]

I would like to calculate the force and moment generated on the sheet when we reduce the distance x.

Thanks
