Hi!
I was given a parasolid file of an assembly consisting of a solid body and four surface bodies. I imported it into Ansys WB. However, the thicknesses of the surface bodies have not been preserved. Ansys shows zero and requires an imput. I tried to make an "educated guess" about the missing thicknesses and changed the defeaturing tolerance, but it did not help. I tried to run the Contact Tool to obtain initial contact information, but non is generated. The automatic contacts are recognized properly though. I cannot even generate a mesh. Error message: The mesher did not generate any nodes. All geometry may have been defeatured away. Has anyone else come across the same problem? Any ideas and suggestions how to fix this problem? Thank you! |
