Modeling in Icepak
Hi all, newbie question here. I am just starting out in Icepak. So far my only real experience in MCAD tools has been SolidWorks, so coming into such an "archaic" GUI is a bit of a shock.

I'm finding I have a lot of trouble manipulating the geometry in the interactive mode. For example, using the "morph and align faces" tool, I need to choose two faces to align. The problem is that there is no way to know what face I will be choosing, if any, before I click the mouse button. And if I somehow click outside the boundaries of what Icepak considers a face (even though it's clearly within the 3D geometry in the model view), then the tool is canceled and I have to start over. This is extremely frustrating. Is there a better way to use these tools? Should I just suck it up and start getting used to entering in geometry coordinates? Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

HI Buddy,
Aligh and morph faces are actually very handy once you get used to it.
For that i suggest changing the background colour to black.
then you will be able to clearly visualize your selection. And more over while using these options, it is better to zoom in/out and use.

try and let me know your experience.
