Hi guys,
I am trying to create 3 cell zones in my 2d mesh. But I can seem to find how. I am using DM (design modeler) and fluent mesh. Can you please help me!! My mesh is really just a simple rectangle but I would like to separate 3 phases inside it. I have attached an image from dam break tutorial so you can get the idea of what I am trying to accomplish. Hi guys,
I managed to make cell zones by going in the design modeler and using surface split to create my 3 zones within the same surface. Then in the Workbench Mesh program I go and name the 3 regions as well as my boundary walls. My problem now is that when I go from the mesh program into Fluent, the defined boundaries (named selections) from the mesh are not carried. Why is this? I get an error "One or more Named Selections have no mesh associated with them. Either the CutCell meshing failed due to tessellation problems or the size of a Named Selection is smaller than the min. size.". I have remeshed to different sizes with no luck. Any ideas? AA |
