So I made a complex 2D sketch of a duct in Solidworks.

And I want to import this into FLUENT/design modeler via workbench, but it says "No valid bodies found" and that is true because i just want the sketch from solidworks and import it into designmodeler, fluent or anything else so I can mesh it and maybe change its geometry.

It loads the solidworks file and other files (sldprt, igs, sat) into the workbench but I can't mesh it or open it in fluent or designmodeler and mesh it or anything else.....

Isn't there a way to just load the sketch file (.SLDPRT) and then put the mesh on it you like and then analyse it with either fluent or cfx.

You need to make a 2D body (surface) from the sketch in solidworks, then import that. You can't import just the sketch.

But there are two surfaces as the duct has a source in it
