sache is on a distinguished road
Hello dear all,

I am trying to simulate 'Thermoacoustic Refrigeration by sound wave', which contains simple duct, at one side sound is placed which creates oscillating pressure, while the other end of duct is closed. within the duct stack is placed (stack is a bunch of parallel plates with smaller spacing).

It is a transient simulation. i have kept dt=0.001.

I am able to give UDF at inlet ( P = Pa + sin(w *t)) with pressure inlet bc, and keeping other side as wall bc. but when i see the scene animation some times pressure wave get transfered while some times stucks within duct.
for outlet as a pressure outlet bc it works. but i want to have forward and backward motion of wave within duct.

Please give me suggestions if any body is working on Thermoacoustic.

all are welcomed..

thank you.
