Hello,
I have the trapped particle coordinates in .txt file and I would like to visualize it at the wall. I am using ANSYS FLUENT for my simulations. My case is 3D. How can I visualize the particles by using its coordinates?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Saidul

You can Visualize the trapped particles by enabling the accretion option in the DPM settings. With this option you can display where the particles are accumulating on the wall with contours

I enabled the Accretion option from the physical model of DPM. Could you please tell me how can I do it? I will be happy if you tell me the detail procedure.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hey Saidul, Once the option is enabled and you have run your sim the procedure is the same as if you were plotting velocity or pressure contours on a surface. Select the surface you want to see the accretion (must be "trap" surface in the particle boundary conditions or you wont see anything) and select "particle accretion" from the list of variables availbe to plot.
