3d wind turbine lift drag
 

I have simulated the flow around wind turbine using sliding mesh technology. I am not sure how to refer the direction for lift and drag forces. my center of rotation is in (0,-0.017,69.9) and axis of rotation is y axis.
Should i calculate lift and drag in stationary condition or the rotating condition? i have used rotating condition and got the results for one blade but i am not sure it is correct or not. lift (0,0,1) and drag(0,1,0) these are the vectors i used.
i have also used the unsteady flow. so i am not sure how many time steps, delta t, and number of iterations per time step should i put. i used 0.1 as delta t and 300 time steps with 30 iterations per time step.
