Default make new material from two materials

is it possible to make new material in ansys from two diff property material.
means we have X and Y known,
X + Y = Z
we need to analysis and check property of new made material is it possible in ansys or what?

you can't simply add the engineering data of two different materials in ansys workbench and get a new material (although you can by adding each material property but it doesn't makes any sence at all).

engineering data can't be use as a color mixture where you mix red with yellow and get orange.

Instead, eastablish a sole material which best suits your design requirement and find out their material properties of that and input these values in ansys engineering data.

Isn't it obvious that the answer is yes?

Instead of giving Ansys the properties for X you simply give the properties for Z which you have prepared beforehand. You can always define a new material, Ansys doesn't care if you name it Z or (X+Y)
