make new material from two materials

is it possible to make new material in ansys from two diff property material.
means we have X and Y known, X + Y = Z we need to analysis and check property of new made material is it possible in ansys or what? |

you can't simply add the engineering data of two different materials in ansys workbench and get a new material (although you can by adding each material property but it doesn't makes any sence at all).
engineering data can't be use as a color mixture where you mix red with yellow and get orange. Instead, eastablish a sole material which best suits your design requirement and find out their material properties of that and input these values in ansys engineering data. thanks, |

Isn't it obvious that the answer is yes?
Instead of giving Ansys the properties for X you simply give the properties for Z which you have prepared beforehand. You can always define a new material, Ansys doesn't care if you name it Z or (X+Y) |
