ANSYS and ANSYS Fluent

Hi all,

Very odd question but I'm a bit confused. Are ANSYS and ANSYS Fluent two different programs, or is Fluent the CFD part of the ANSYS full package??

the latter is correct however there are multiple other CFD solver modules (generic as well as application specific) in Ansys as well, in addition to Fluent..

Cheers for the feedback. I'm familiar with STAR CCM+, but need to get a grasp of fluent for a course I'm starting. Just wanted to know what to try and get my hands on in order to do a few tutorials

Thanks. Sure, Fluent is one of the modules of Ansys Workbench and fortunately there are plenty of tutorials available and upfront for Fluent online. Best of luck.
