Trying To Run Parallel on a Linux machine that is not supported

Hi guys, first of all I am not really familiar with linux (just the basic commands like cd, jobs, mkdir etc).

When I then open the workbench on the linux (64bit) machine and set the solver to MPI local parallel, it does not work, but serial DOES work.

When I run the .def file with cfx5solve -partitioner /CFX/bin/linux-amd64/int64/partitioner.exe -def test.def -start-method "Intel MPI Local Parallel" -part 10

it does work.

Does anyone have a fix?

So it is probably because my cpu is not recognized and/or it can't find the partitioner.exe

This is because I am running ubuntu, instead of a supported linux system. Does anyone have a fix for this?
