Hi all,
I am receiving the error described in the thread title from my Fluent/ANSYS two-way FSI analysis. I have multiple fluid domains separated by solid domains. How can I determine where this volume is detected? Regards, Kegan |

Thank you for your suggestion.
Won't checking the contour only show me the elements on a particular face? I suspect the cell(s) with negative volume are in the interior of the fluid domain. I've plotted a Volume Rendering of variable: cell volume derivative. There doesn't seem to be any good definition of what this variable represents in the HELP documentation or in the forums. Some of these values are reported as being negative near the FSI interface (at the location I suspect poor elements will occur). Is this the best way to search for poor quality elements in CFD-Post?
