Error:Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): ILLEGAL CONNECTIVITY.

Hello Everyone,

This post is related to an error message while trying to study the motion response characteristics of a simple floating body using Ansys-AQWA as part of my research work. When I try to study hydrodynamic diffraction of the floating body I am encountering with error message as follows:

Error! Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): Solve aborted!
Error! Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): TERMINATED WITH ERRORS
Error! Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): ILLEGAL CONNECTIVITY. Element 60 is joined to element 153 and element 671
Informational Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): Mass/displaced mass are significantly different for structure 1 . Difference = -1.0%
Warning! Hydrodynamic Diffraction (A4): 372 MODELLING RULE #1 VIOLATIONS IGNORED BY GOON OPTION

Hydrostatics solve solution is working without solution getting aborted.

Can anyone please help me to figure out what could be the possible error? Is it something related to meshing of the model?
I am new to this software and if anyone could guide me with their knowledge it will be of great help. I hope someone would have encountered with the same error before but I couldn't find any thread giving solution for the same. Awaiting for a helpful reply.

Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Did you sort this out?

I have modified everything, started my model again from scratch but nothing worked...

Any idea?

Thank you very much for your time

All the best,

Try to change the value in connection tolerance.
Mesh-->waterline node generation --> connection tolernce
