Hi, everyone:

I am doing a 2-way FSI working on a flexible fish net in current. To simulate the fish net, I prefer porous media model, which is a fluid model.

As I know, 2-way FSI is applicable for solid body in fluid domain, using 3 modules: transient structure+Fluent+system coupling, like this:

Can I select a small fluid region as the deformed structure? Can someone give me a general idea? I just need to know it is workable or not .

Thanks

Hao

Hi. I'm simulating water flow over an elastic membrane. The membrane deforms when water flows over it.It's 2 way fsi. Can any one help me with connecting the cells of the systems? This is the way I've done it. Is it OK or should I change it?

Thanks a lot Haowu
I had watched this video before but I thought maybe my simulation is different from this because in mine the fluid flows before the deformation of the membrane and maybe I gottta change something.
any way, thank a lot for caring dear Haowu
