Hi everybody
I've done a bubble rise of air in water in fluent. I'm interested in how to do it in cfx. In fluent i've used the VOF model with PLIC and CSF. What settings in cfx will be equivalent to this? To my knowledge cfx is not equiped with PLIC. What settings would you use in cfx to see single air bubbles rise in water? Best Regards Tim |

Hi Gabson
Maybe you could describe your setup a bit, both geometry and which models and boundary conditions you use, pictures are always good! Tim |

Thank you very much for your reply.
I was able to make the bubble rise and got results. I have tried my best to determine the center velocity of the bubble (local velocity) per time frame but to no avail, I have also searched the internet but I cannot just find one. Kindly help me please |

I actually do not know how to determine the rising velocity.
