Hi all, I am working on simulation using Ansys CFX. I am a newbie in this field, so I need some suggestion from all of you.

I am doing a simulation on Archimedes screw turbine which I have to ensure that my turbine blade is rotating and half submerged in air and water. As shown in Figure 1 below, the upper part is air and bottom is water (half submerged). This simulation is in steady state

In this simulation, I consider the fluid part as stationary and blade part as rotating. Both fluid part and blade part is set up as a fluid domain.

1. Should I change the blade part into immersed solid as the blade is partially immersed in water?
2. Figure 2 shows the water volume fraction of my results. Is it my result can be reliable/accepted?
3. Is it my setup is acceptable for this type of turbine simulation?

Thanks in advance

I hope you could able to simulate the ASG.

Now I am simulating the ASG, and I had several problems.
I am doing using ANSYS CFX.

I was very grateful if you can help me with this.
