Hello,

I have some question about porous domains.

First I m simulating a brush seal as a porous domain and a subdomain with ANSYS CFX 15.0. The subdomain converges very well and offers good results. The porous domain makes some trouble i ve tried everything but it still didnt worked. ANSYS support said that I should try to change the expert parameter "porous cs discretisation option" from 3 to 1. After changing the expert parameter the model converges...

They didnt said what this really means. Here my questions:
1) What does the expert parameter do?
2) Where is the difference between a domain and a subdomain as a porous media? There has to be a difference in the physics and maths i dont see.

Thanks
