fan fluid flow with cover and wall

Hi,
I'm new here and I hope that I'm writing in the right section.
I want to simulate the problem in figure, the air flow on a fan with a cover around and a wall behind (in the two first pictures you can see the complex problem, in the third pictures what I want to simulate...I've simplified a lot!).

I have read a lot on internet but I'm a bit confused.
the best solution for me is use ansys CXF or ansys FLUENT (with sliding mesh?!)? I have some doubts about the accuracy of the methods (finite elements VS finite volumes).

Should I use ansys turbogrid?

And about the boundary condition: I don’ t know neither the mass flow nor the velocity inlet…what I have to do?

I definitely need something accurate but I can't waste too time because I have to a lot of simulation with different types of fan.

Thanks a lot

Michele

PS: on you-tube I’ve found those tutorial, one with the sliding mesh method, on with CFX…I think that both are my case but…I need to put some other components!

hi, I've spent days on YouTube and I’ve read kilometres…
I have performed several simulations with CFX following two different procedure (video) …. but really different results are shown:

1) based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5IJEpPDyxs , a transient simulation… I haven’t understood why the boundary conditions are not set.
2) based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi7H...Gu5GEg&index=7 , steady simulation, immersed solid with rotating frame(MRF model???!!!). Because I don’t know anything about the fluid I’ve set the BCs in in-Ptot=0 (relative pressure), out-Pstatic=o (relative).it’s ok?
So…what is ok?
please link me some tutorial that can help me.
I’m on the right way?
can I mesh my problem with turbogrid? I’m not able to create the boundary layers and I think that check a good y+ it is very important…. please tutorial!
And finally. Could you link me please tutorial to create an axial fan? I think that vista AFD makes for me…. but I have not find any tutorial.

Thanks a lot
Michele

About pictures: the first two are to understand the problem, the third one for the transient case, and the last one for the steady case.
