Hello!

When I start Fluent via Workbench I get an error in Workbench saying "The FLUENT failed to initialize".

In Fluent an error comes up in the command box saying:

No error handler available

Error: Cortex received a fatal signal (SEGMENTATION VIOLATION).
Error Object: ()

Error: eval: unassigned variable
Error Object: rp-seg?

I have tried to update everything I know (graphics drivers and so on..). It works to launch Fluent seperately. Does anyone know about this problem?

Thanks in advance!

I have encountered the same question. Have you solved it? It's really strange...

hi hannesjk,

I have solved this problem just now. It is because the monitor driver, you should update to the new version or reinstall it. Then the fluent will start as usual.

Hey guys, I solved it by uninstalling and reinstalling all graphical devices like GUI and graphic card it self. That worked for me

Hi all,

can anyone tell me how does it affect the solution, I am getting this error after every time step only, so does it have any impact on it? Also, I have written a udf for plotting a property but no graph is being plotted in the fluent window, I have done all the required settings, is this is due to this error or something else. I have attached my udf, please check if there is an error in it.

Thank you
