Configuration question
 

Hi all, I have a computer configuration on which I need your opinion. The goal is to minimize computing time for Fluent simulations. I will just put the basic components of the computer, since peripherals like SSD, brand of RAM etc, are not vital. So here's the beast:

MOTHERBOARD: Z10PE-D16 WS (dual socket 2011 LGA)
CPU: 2x Intel® Core™ i7-6800K
RAM: 128 GB DDR4 3000MHz
VGA: GTX 1060

Will Ansys be capable of utilizing the 24 total cores, or not? I have a backup version of this configuration with 64 gigs of ram and one of these CPUs. The whole problem is that the first configuration costs about 1000 bucks more, and I am unsure if ANSYS can utilize all that power.
