Hi,

I'm new to the site and a beginner on ANSYS, I am using ANSYS 10 mechanical with the GUI (not workbench).

I have created two individual 3d space frames from both LINK8 elements and PIPE16.

I have restrained the models, applied loads and performed non-linear geometric analyses successfully.

Now I would like to adjust the joint configuration ideally using a mixture of pinned and rigid joints.

What is the best way of doing this? I have tried coupling nodes but believe I have made some errors as the models do not displace as expected.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
