Hi

First question on this forum. Hope to learn and help others a lot :-)

I am using ansys thermal steady state. The model is basically a metal block with some complex geometry with a local heatsource and heated to approx 600 C. The block is placed in a very large vacuum chamber(10mBar).

The heat loss to the vacuum chamber would consist of radiation and conduction.

I am trying to add air conductance to the model, but I can only find convection and radiation.

The question is : how do I add air conduction to the model?

Ultimately I want to add conductance as a function of pressure

Thanks for the help. :-)
