I am currently doing non-linear analyses due to contact between several components in my model.
Before changes to a particular contact pair, there would usually be a single iteration per substep. After these changes Ansys is solving them using three iterations per substep, which is taking far too long for my liking. Would increasing the number of substeps per load step reduce the number of iterations per substep, and hence reduce overall computational times? Thank you in advance! |
