Hi, guys. This is my first thread. I am a mechanical engineering student. I am doing a project to design a spherical blimp. I only have elementary knowledge in ANSYS.

I would like to know how to use Ansys to analyse the helium filled balloon in all possible ways. A few things I like to find using Ansys.

1)Stress on the envelope due to the inside pressure (inflated with helium)?
2)The maximum allowable pressure inside the balloon and optimum pressure inside the balloon?
3)Stress on the balloon while it is moving in the air?
4)Drag and Lift while moving straight and while rotating?
5)Deformation of the balloon

Which analysing system (like fluent, static, explicit etc) should I use for each of the above cases?

Also please provide me with some insights on how to analyse.

If there is something else that I could find using Ansys relating to this project, please pitch in the idea. It would be a great help for me.

Thankyou.
