Noob Problem: ICEM Meshing racing car

Hey there,

The scientific assistant I am working for gave me the task to mesh a little racing car. I have no experience with such a meshtyp (In complete CFD I am a noob too) and he cant help me. So maybe someone here can do this:

I have a igs part from this car. I got problems with the size data, so I cut my model in a half one. After some problems I managed it to load the geometry without getting extremely bad surfs.
I build up the boundary surfs like you can see in first picture.

For Meshing I set a global element seed size, gave the surfs of the car a smaller one and set them to prism.
I used a tetra/mixed mesh as robust(octree), created with prism layers.
I got a mesh and this error output. (see picture). I also cant load the mesh in fluent. For the mesh I have, I have used really big Elements to proof if the general way works.

The failure is one problem, but worse is, that if I want to generate a mesh with a element size at the car wall with a scale of y+=0,6 to view the
boundary layer. But always my ICEM hangs up and give me no response.

I tried many things but nothing works...
