Hello

could any one help me how to setup steam explosions in ansys ?

using which models can this is possible

my problem is Simulating a hot pipe

a hot steel pipe is heated to 900 degree centigrade and water is sent into pipe through 5 mm dia inlet

dimensions of pipe are dia 60mm lenth 600 mm

it has no outlet.

inlet water temperature is 25 degree centigrade with 1 bar

i want to solve transiently

i want to find the pressure inside the pipe due to the phase change from water to steam

required pressure is 600 bar inside the pipe . i want to find in how much time does the required pressure is achieved

can you suggest me which models i have to use and how to solve this problem

thanks in advance
