Lord_lettuce is on a distinguished road
Hi there,

I am working on a project for an IC engine class. We chose as our final project to try to improve the turbulence in a 250cc 1967 Ducati motorcycle. Since I have some CFD experience using solidworks I volunteered to do the analysis. I am using ANSYS IC engine module to do a cold flow simulation, as we don't need combustion just the tubrulence of the new piston head.

I found a PDF tutorial online. link: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...m/wb_icom.html

I have made a quick solidworks model for a practice simulation to get a feel for the program and converted it to an IGS file so that Ansys can read it.

I have attached the geometry file.

So far I can designate everything in the input manager and animate the motion and it looks fine, however when it comes to decomposing the model I get these error messages:

If someone could help me out that would be great, as the deadline to this project is coming quicker that I would like.
