Can anyone help Matlab figure data to ansys ??

I have used the method of characteristics method to create the divergent section of the nozzle i now want to run the simulation in ansys fluent after slight modification in design modeller. Does anyone know how really stuck on this for quite some time any help would be appreciated thank you in advance

I'm not sure about your question, do you mean to export your nozzle shape from matlab (points data) to design modeler, so that then you can run it on fluent, or is it something else?
If the former, at least in space claim you can create a curve based on a function so you could try to create an interpolation in matlab (apparently you can't give points coordinates directly) with a suitable function and then used that to create the geometry.

Hi Juan,
Yes i am trying export the nozzle shape as data points into design modeler / solidworks (CAD) i have heard i may have to export the data points into Microsoft excel as there may not be a way to directly take the data from matlab to ansys if you have any ideas on how this can be done please let me know any advice would be appreciated
thank you

Matlab to solidworks / Ansys

Has anyone been able to find a compatible way to import the matlab into figure into Solidworks or Ansys Fluent directly to be used immediately following import.
In this case i was trying to import the nozzle figure from Matlab to Ansys or via Solidworks any help would be appreciated. :)

Print those points out into some csv or text file and import it in Solidworks or DesignModeler. I have done both in the past, it works. You will find guides or hints on the steps via google.
